Born in Washington State, Bella grew up appreciating the nature around her. Known for it’s rainy seasons and dark clouds, Bella learned quickly that rain brings flowers. She has embraced this motto as she and her mom transitioned from Washington State to South Carolina. Leaving her home state during her sophomore year of high school and transitioning into a new school was not an easy feat. Bella overcame all of the obstacles and decided to play sports and work during her free time. This allowed her to make some great friends and get to know the people of Mt. Pleasant on a completely different level.
Now a Senior at Wando High School, Bella is looking forward to her next steps of getting a degree in Psychology. In the meantime, she has found a new passion in the confectionery world. The Confectionery Chef at Sweet Julep’s noticed her amazing talent and quickly took Bella under her wing and began teaching her the ropes of the confectionery profession. Bella’s favorite part of working behind the scenes at Sweet Julep’s is watching how something as simple as chocolate can be transformed into amazing, beautiful creations. Her talent goes beyond the kitchen as Bella wears two hats at Sweet Julep’s. She has a knack for customer service that ensures our guests receive the best possible experience when they are in our store.
Bella considers the Sweet Julep’s team her family already and she has only been on staff for a few short months. She is looking forward to the new holidays ahead as each one brings fun challenges for creating chocolates that will blow the mind of the young and old who shop at Sweet Julep’s.
