A native Charlestonian, Jordan is a true southerner at heart and loves southern food! She says, “you can’t really go wrong with any southern foods or desserts!” Jordan is a senior at Early College High School, where she will receive her Associate’s Degree, along with her High School Diploma when she graduates. She feels very fortunate to have this opportunity because it will help her get into her career field sooner.
When Jordan is not at work or learning at school, she enjoys playing rugby for Wando High School. This is her second year of playing rugby and she loves the sport and the environment of the team. Jordan feels that rugby is truly one of the best things that she could have added to her life. Jordan says, “being a part of a team that needs to work together is like being part of a family that you know always has your back.” Rugby has taught Jordan a lot about herself and working well with others. It has shown her how to push herself to always be her best.
Jordan plans to continue her education at College of Charleston and pursue a degree in marketing. She grew up seeing how a business is run and after a few years of getting to know it better, she knew she wanted to have a business of her own or be part of a smaller business. She likes seeing how things run and knowing what goes on behind the scenes. She has always loved the environment of a small business and being on the team at Sweet Julep’s is a perfect fit for Jordan! She loves making sure our customers get the sweetest experience possible when they visit our store.
