This is a great little candy store in the Mt Pleasant Town Centre. They have a big selection of homemade chocolates, pralines hard candy, there is something for everyone! I loved the pecan fudge and the pralines were delicious. Josie was very helpful and welcoming. I will be back for more sweets next time I am in Charleston! - 9/17/2026

Sweet Julep's lives up to its name in every way! This store has an incredible selection of candy, along with the sweetest and most helpful staff.Recently, I had my students complete an edible cell project made entirely out of candy. Because I love supporting our community, I reached out to Sweet Julep's about our project, and they went above and beyond to make it a fun and memorable experience for my students. After sharing about the project, the staff was able to recommend candies that could represent each of the cell organelles. My students had the BEST time browsing the store, making their selections, and bringing their edible cells to life! For locals and anyone visiting Mount Pleasant, Sweet Julep's is a truly a Lowcountry GEM! - 9/12/2026

A little gem of a store! Smells amazing the moment you walk in, a variety of options…I genuinely feel like “a kid in a candy store” every time I go there. Right next to a movie theater which extremely convenient for family movie nights, and the staff is always happy. - 10/13/2024

I want to edit this review to add that I spoke with Amy on the phone and she was not only professional, she was also very pleasant and kind. Traits that I hope young professionals will recognize out in the world and aspire to since this kind of customer service is rare these days. Take heart, though! Not all is lost, as exemplified by Amy and this wonderful establishment! Original review: I ordered a box of pralines for my brother and myself. The delivery was prompt and the pralines were incredibly delicious! Very fresh! They tasted like they were made exactly with my mother's (the best in all the land!) home-made fudge recipe and she was very particular about her fudge! I only wish she could have tried these wonderful confections! She would have loved them! Thank you, Sweet Juleps! - 6/13/2024

I am located in Richmond, VA. Amy sent a package of sweet treats to me as a thank you gift. All the Assorted Candies, Pralines and Fudge were to die for. The gift box presentation was amazing so we where so surprised when we open the package. Sweet Julep's goes the extra mile and the candies are so delicious. So if you are looking for a special gift for someone try them out. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for the pleasure of sharing your treats with us.
